Childhood Cancer Awareness Month: Fountain Dyeing + Hero Parade

Join us for a heartfelt kick-off event to mark the beginning of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This special occasion aims to raise awareness within our community and support the brave children and their family’s battling cancer. We will shine a light on childhood cancer by dyeing the iconic JC Nichols Fountain gold with the help of some special hope heroes and other community members.

What to Expect:
  • Parade of Heroes: Baron BMW, with the assistance of a KCMO police escort, will lead a parade featuring our heroes and their families into the event area.
  • Press Conference: A short press conference will be held to discuss the importance of childhood cancer awareness and the impact on affected families.
  • Dyeing the Fountain Gold: In a powerful and symbolic gesture, our heroes and their families will dye the fountain gold, representing hope and solidarity in the fight against childhood cancer.
Come out and be a part of this inspiring event. Together, we can make a significant impact and bring hope to those who need it most. Let’s turn the fountain gold and show our community’s strength and hope!
